As the need for early intervention among our young student population rises, so too do the interactions between educators, therapists, children, and parents. With so many varying approaches to therapy, it can be overwhelming and confusing to facilitate partnerships with service providers. In this webinar, you will learn how to maintain your fidelity to Montessori when collaborating with therapists whose methods may differ from yours. The presenters will offer strategies for preparing your environment to help link your students’ therapy needs to the Montessori materials and curriculum, and to ensure that you and their therapists are working in alignment with one another.

Learner Outcomes

  • You will learn how to support children in your Montessori environment who receive intervention services.
  • You will gain an understanding of specific accommodations you can make to your prepared environment to incorporate therapy recommendations while remaining true to the Method.
  • You will learn how to support therapists’ understanding of a Montessori classroom.
